Kendall began his career at six with a commercial for Chex.Later when he was 10 years old he played on Steven Spilberg's film named A.I Artificial Intelligence ,to be the stand -in body double of Haley Joel Osment.Then in the mid of 2009 was cast for Nickelodeon's HIT SERIES BIG TIME RUSH as one of the main characters.

James was born in New York and then he moved with his family in California ,La Jolla.When he was 6 he started training as a singer when his parents made him sing at San Diego Children's Choir.He had a small role in the San Diego's Opera when he was 10.He also had different roles as Dany Zuko -Grease and and as Marius in Les Miserables.
